Doug Mory

Doug Mory, a native of Oldham County, Kentucky, is a partner at Mory & Colliersmith, PLLC, in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was a standout debate competitor in high school and college. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and communication from Western Kentucky University and a J.D. from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law in 2002. He is also licensed to practice law in Tennessee (2002) and Kentucky (2003).

Initially, Mr. Mory worked as a public defender in Louisville, providing legal representation to criminal defendants. However, in 2007, he shifted his focus to civil law and started advocating for injured victims with the same tenacity and dedication he honed in his criminal defense practice.

Mr. Mory is a skilled negotiator, resolving millions of dollars worth of cases for his clients. He is also a seasoned litigator, confident and poised in the courtroom, achieving numerous favorable jury verdicts. He holds licenses to practice law in Kentucky and Tennessee, which he takes great pride in. He is a member of the Kentucky Justice Association.

Outside of work, Mr. Mory finds joy in reading, biking and cherishing moments with his young twins.
